Ride peacefully, discover the former train stations, chapels, rivers and nice hamlets and enjoy the charming breton landscapes!
We invite you to discover our mountain bike tracks, for all levels. For challenge lovers the valleys of the rivers Aven and Jet offer beautiful hilly areas which are just waiting for you to come. The sea never being far away, a soft marine scent sometimes remains around the wooded paths… A booklet including the maps of the cycling tracks of Concarneau Cornouaille Agglomération and of Quimperlé Terre Océane is available for 3,50€ at the Tourist Offices.
The Névézienne is a bike ride which goes all around Névez: it follows small countryside roads and crosses Kercanic and Kerascoët, the thatched houses villages from the XVth century.
The road runs along the coastline and crosses the nicest spots of Névez: the Pointe de Raguenez, Rospico bay, Port Manec’h… It is the opportunity to admire the great diversity of the coastal landscapes. The track then follows the river Aven, leading to Kerdruc, a charming little harbour.
The way back through the countryside passes by the Hénan where you will discover the tide mill, the miller’s house, the retting ponds and the Saint Marguerite’s chapel.
Do not forget your bike helmets! It is mandatory for children and highly recommended for adults.
It might be better to avoid too long days on the Voie Verte when you are riding your bike or hiking with children: 3 to 4 hours cycling allow you to fully appreciate the path!
The easy mountain bike tracks are suitable for children. However, do not venture on them with a cart.
